What began as a routine day of medical appointments turned into a memorable afternoon, thanks to the kindness and generosity of two wonderful community partners.
A heartfelt thank you to Sandy Valley Transportation Services and Prestonsburg Dairy Cheer for making an ordinary day extraordinary. As our residents were heading home from their appointments, they mentioned how much they would love to stop at Dairy Cheer for lunch. Without hesitation, Sandy Valley Transportation driver Clayton happily made the extra stop, creating a special surprise that brought smiles to everyone on board.
The friendly team at Prestonsburg Dairy Cheer welcomed our residents with warm hospitality, serving up delicious footlong hot dogs, refreshing drinks, and plenty of cheerful conversation. What could have been just another lunch became an experience filled with laughter, connection, and happy memories.
At Salyersville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we are continually reminded that it’s often the smallest acts of kindness that leave the biggest impact. We are incredibly grateful to Clayton, Sandy Valley Transportation Services, and the entire team at Prestonsburg Dairy Cheer for their compassion and generosity.
