Decorating for Christmas was a little different this year at Salyersville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. But then again so has the whole year been different. We are determined to not let this disease put a damper on our Christmas Spirit around here!! Christmas tree went up with a little help from everyone, okay maybe a lot!! CNA’s, Activities, Therapy, Nursing, Administrator, Maintenance, everyone had a hand in making sure the Christmas trees were up and decorated. Some resident’s that were not sick were escorted out of their room’s one at a time to hang a few ornaments on the tree and to watch their faces glow with laughter and joy bringing out the kid inside of them. Let us all remember what the true meaning of Christmas is and the joy that we can bring to one another with the small acts of kindness. Christmas was a huge success as always at Salyersville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center! Thank you to our friends and family in the community for bringing in the gifts from our Angel Tree. Our residents are truly blessed and so are we to have them! Our Angel’s in disguise!!
