Each year residents work alongside the Activities department and other staff members to learn a new dance routine for our annual Heritage Day performance. The community looks forward to what our residents at Salyersville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center have in store for them. The residents, as usual, took the stage by storm and to much anticipation, the crowd was not let down. This year residents performed to a combination of three songs with dancing and a skit. We gave the crowd a little surprise when we did the popular How Down Boogie. So funny to watch the crowd in awe. To end the performance as we do each year one of our residents sang acapella an old country song that is the highlight of the night each year. We will see what we can plan for next year and surprise everyone as usual.
