This month’s question had our residents thinking, debating, and defending their vacation real estate choices!
Would you rather live in a MANSION in the desert or a SHACK in a tropical paradise?
After some serious discussion, the votes were in:
25 chose the Shack in a Tropical Paradise
12 chose the Mansion in the Desert
3 said NEITHER — “Give me the mountains!”
The tropical shack crowd had some pretty convincing arguments. Sure, the shack might have holes—and snakes could get in! But the tropical views, beautiful scenery, and paradise setting were hard to beat. Plus, one resident pointed out that a mansion would be way too big to clean!
The mansion supporters had their own case: air conditioning, plenty of space, and most likely a pool! But then came the biggest problem… the desert is just too HOT, and who wants to look at sand all day?
In the end, paradise won! Apparently, our residents and staff are willing to risk a few snakes for tropical views, warm breezes, and a little less housework.
And for those three mountain lovers? They’re sticking to their own plan—skip the shack, skip the mansion, and give them a cabin in the mountains!
