From May 11 to May 17, 2025, Salyersville Nursing and Rehabilitation embraced the spirit of National Skilled Nursing Care Week with a lineup of vibrant and engaging events, bringing joy to residents and staff alike.
A Week of Festivities
This year’s celebrations reflected creativity, nostalgia, and community spirit, with themed days that kept everyone entertained:
- Diner Day – A throwback to classic diners with retro music, comfort food, and a lively atmosphere.
- Hollywood Movie Day – Lights, camera, action! Residents enjoyed iconic films and embraced their inner stars.
- Hippie Day – Peace, love, and fun! With colorful outfits, tie-dye crafts, and groovy tunes, this day celebrated the carefree spirit of the 60s.
- Prom Night – A beautiful evening filled with music, dancing, and elegance, allowing residents to relive cherished memories.
- Carnival Day – The grand finale featured games, treats, and festivities reminiscent of a classic fair, bringing smiles to all.
