Residents and staff were invited to attend the Elder Abuse Awareness Event hosted by the Big Sandy Area Development District on June 14th in Inez. Residents along with staff were educated about the signs to watch for elder abuse. This was a great event that was very informative along with some great entertainment and a lunch. If you know of someone or suspect abuse, please contact your local law enforcement to report. Respect, love and care for your elderly!!
