At Salyersville Nursing and Rehabilitation, our mission extends far beyond meeting healthcare needs. Every day, we strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, respected, and loved—just like family. One of the greatest rewards for our team is hearing from the families who entrust us with the care of their loved ones, and recently, we were deeply touched by a message from the family of one of our cherished residents, Ms. L.
Ms. L’s children shared their appreciation for the care their mother receives from our staff. Their kind words serve as a reminder of why we do what we do.
“Thank you for the wonderful care you have given our mom. Everyone goes above and beyond to treat her like their own family. All of the staff and aides have a special nickname for her and it truly shows the love and connection they have with her.”
For our team, caregiving is about more than providing services—it is about building meaningful relationships. Ms. L’s special nickname reflects the special bond she has developed with the caregivers, nurses, aides, and staff members who have become an important part of her daily life. These connections are at the heart of person-centered care and help create a sense of comfort, belonging, and home.
At Salyersville Nursing and Rehabilitation, we believe every resident has a unique story, a lifetime of experiences, and a family who loves them deeply. We are honored when families choose us to be part of their loved one’s journey. It is a responsibility we do not take lightly, and we are committed to providing compassionate care with dignity, kindness, and respect.
Stories like Ms. L’s inspire us to continue going the extra mile each day. Whether it’s sharing a laugh, offering a listening ear, celebrating milestones, or simply providing comfort during challenging moments, our team is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. L’s children for their trust, support, and thoughtful words. It is an honor to care for Ms. L., and we are grateful to be part of your family’s story. Your appreciation means the world to our staff and serves as encouragement to continue delivering the compassionate, family-centered care that defines who we are.
Thank you for allowing us to care for those who matter most. Together, we truly are family caring for family.
